Mentoring as a growth engine
Across seventeen-plus years, the throughline has been developing the people who ship the work. I trained IT apprentices at 1&1 Telecommunication SE for three years, deputized for and eventually stepped into the team lead role there, and now mentor and coach up to 46 engineers at once at MSQ DX — not through formal programs, but through deliberate delegation, honest feedback, and real ownership.
Working with stakeholders who don’t speak “engineering”
Executives, product owners, and clients don’t need architecture diagrams — they need confidence that the right things are happening for the right reasons. I’ve built that confidence across telecom (1&1), e-commerce (JACOB Elektronik), consumer brands (Netzbewegung’s client work), and international agency delivery (MSQ DX), by communicating trade-offs in terms of outcomes, risk, and timeline rather than technology.
